Unique place with great selection of bbq and sushi. They also have a very nice variety of sake. The seating is all around a counter so you’ll have a somewhat of a communal, interactive meal.

Wow what great food and an authentic experience we had! Seating is like a bar style around the chefs while they serve you the food themselves. Got to watch how an artisan makes his art! In this case sushi! However... beware, this will not be your standard sushi spot they are more of an upscale priced restaurant and the food definitely shows it! Two people we spent more than 200.00 Also if you go with more than 2-3 people it would be harder to mingle since seating is all in one direction so definitely keep it to smaller groups!

We came here on a whim, just looking for a regular sushi spot. But what we found is a hidden gem here on Staten Island. We went with the omakase, and we were blown away. It was an unbelievably fresh selection of fish and garnishes. We had salmon, yellow tail (which was our favorite), red snapper, uni, scallops, wagyu with quail egg and other delicious selections. The staff was attentive and made sure our waters were full and checked in with us about our experience throughout. We would definitely recommend coming here for the experience and amazing food. They also have a regular menu , that you can select from!

Roppongi Robata & Sushi offers a warm, quiet atmosphere that makes for a truly pleasant dining experience. I started with a lychee martini made with smooth Japanese vodka and natural flavors—absolutely delicious. The appetizers were flavorful, and the sushi was addictive—especially the scallop piece, which was my favorite. I also had the whole red snapper and some Robata skewers, and watching the chef cook was such a cool experience. The service was amazing—the gentleman who helped us was kind, attentive, and explained each dish so well. Highly recommend for both the food and the vibe.

Absolutely unreal in every way, from service to food quality. The atmosphere is very calming and luxurious, really unlike any other place I have been on the island. The staff is kind and helpful in explaining the menu. All the food was incredible, really recommend trying some of the robata grilled skewers! Can’t wait to come back and try more.

The food is excellent sushi is the most fresh I've ever had, and the noodles for the Ramen are HOME MADE. Everything was super tasty, highly recommended!!

Had this place on my list since it opened, and saved it for my bday being how excited I was to go. We felt like we were transported back to Tokyo just the year prior. The ambiance, service, food quality, presentation, chef skills, music, intimacy... a unique vibe for The Island. Even the robatayaki itself was enough. Can't wait to go back.
